Congratulations to the South Australian artists and arts organisations who have secured funding in the latest round of the Arts and Culture Grants Program.

Arts and Culture Grants Program

Recipients of the July 2023 round will share in more than $990,000, with funding supporting activities that are expected to employ more than 590 artists and arts workers.

Fifty grants have been recommended, spanning the art form areas of performing arts, literature, and visual art, craft and design.

Funded activity includes support for Australian Dance Theatre to tour its recent First Nations-led work Tracker to New South Wales in 2024, and for Floating Goose Studios to support its 2024 gallery exhibition program.

Funding will also assist Brink Productions to partner with Tutti Arts to deliver FINAL FRONTIER, a series of concept development workshops over a 15-month period that will engage more than 200 artists with and without disability in the creation of a festival work of scale.

Grant applications were assessed against published criteria by sector representatives with specialist art form, arts practice, arts management, and cultural expertise.

Further information about each grant category and recipients is available in the full list of recipients below.

The October 2023 round of the Arts and Culture Grants Program is currently open, with applications closing 9 October 2023.
