The Ruby Awards turned 18 this year and took to the stage on Adelaide Festival Centre’s golden anniversary to celebrate the best of South Australia’s arts and culture sector at the invitation-only event on Friday 8 December 2023.

Named after late arts patron, Dame Ruby Litchfield, The Ruby Awards honour the outstanding work of South Australia’s arts and culture sector – recognising artistic excellence, creative achievement, innovation, community involvement and inspirational leadership.

The awards were judged by a panel including representatives from a broad cross-section of South Australian arts and culture sector.
