There were too many amazing moments to list them all, but a big thank you goes to comedian Jason Chong for being our MC extraordinaire, Uncle Mickey Kumatpi Marrutya O'Brien for a Welcome to Country, pianist Ciara Ferguson for providing the soundtrack for the evening, and the array of talented performers who took to the stage on the night.

Performances included an amazing fusion of dance, acrobatics and piano from Sound of Circus; a specially commissioned piece Maintain, Rest, Value: 50 years from Alison Currie and Ade Suharto; a moving performance from Nancy Bates, Fabiann Brochell and the Pocket String Quartet; and the spirited sounds of Hot Club of Adelaide who provided the after party entertainment.

The event also took the opportunity to celebrate 18 years of partnering with the JamFactory to produce our fabulous award trophies.

A special thanks goes to our wonderful event partners Adelaide Festival Centre, Ginger Ninja Events and everyone involved who made The Ruby Awards 2023 possible.
