The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is responsible for the administration of multicultural grant programs. These contribute to the South Australian Government's commitment to supporting our most vulnerable and aspirational communities and celebrating diversity through festivals, educational and capacity building events and intercultural projects.

Multicultural Grants Program

The Multicultural Grants Program features the following streams of funding to support our multicultural communities.

Advance Together

Grants to assist multicultural organisations to improve their governance and strengthen their capacity building skills. More information will be available in early 2020.

Celebrate Together

Grants to assist multicultural organisations to host festivals and events to celebrate cultural diversity. Applications will open in early 2020.

Expand Together

Grants to assist multicultural organisations to expand their capacity by upgrading community facilities or purchasing equipment to meet the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Applications are now open.

Stronger Together

Grants to assist multicultural organisations to develop and deliver projects that strengthen families and communities and improve their access to better social and economic opportunities. Applications will be open again in late 2020 for projects that will be delivered in 2021-23.

Come Together Multicultural Festival Grants Program 2019

There are three grant categories to support multicultural community groups to showcase their culture through a performance, activity or stall at the 2019 Multicultural Festival.
