COVID-19 Arts Grant Support

Arts South Australia has reconfigured its available grant funds and developed a series of practical measures to support the sector, and assist artists and organisations to respond to immediate pressures and the inevitable disruptions occurring. These grants have now closed.

Arts and culture grant programs

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is responsible for the administration of arts and culture grant programs.

Funding programs span art forms and sectors, including public art and design, independent makers and presenters, artists and organisations for the deaf, people with disability and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts.

Carefully targeted programs support artists and organisations through flexible funding arrangements that include triennial, annual and project-specific agreements.

Here are the programs available in 2019-20.

* Please note our funding programs are currently under review as part of the Arts and Culture Plan South Australia 2019-2024 to ensure they support contemporary practice and are responsive to sector needs. Some grant rounds for 2020 have been scheduled with similar frequency to previous years. Other rounds and closing dates are yet to be determined. We expect to be able to provide further details from mid-May 2020.
