The Expand Together grants help multicultural organisations expand their capacity by purchasing equipment and to upgrade, extend or build community facilities to meet the needs of South Australia’s culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
Expand Together grants of up to $100,000 are available to multicultural organisations for projects to be delivered over 12 months.
Categories
There are 3 categories under the Expand Together grants.
- Equipment grant up to $30,000
- Infrastructure grant up to $50,000
- Infrastructure grant between $50,001 - $100,000
There are matched funding requirements for applicants requesting more than $50,000.
Information session
There will be an online information session to explain the application process and answer your questions at 5pm on Wednesday 25 November 2026.

Acknowledgement of support
Any organisation receiving funding or support through the Government of South Australia is asked to include the logo on any marketing and communications materials, according to the Government of South Australia branding guidelines (PDF, 1.9 MB). Examples of marketing materials include programs, correspondence, posters, flyers, or newsletters.
Marketing material containing the department's logo must be approved prior to publishing. Contact us to make sure you meet branding guidelines.
