The government was elected with a strong mandate to deliver a range of significant programs, projects and policies, not just for the next four years, but for the next generation. These will be delivered across the full breadth of the public sector and will include a number of multi-agency initiatives. The government has established a Premier’s Delivery Unit (PDU) to ensure priorities are delivered on time and on budget and that any challenges are addressed early and resolved satisfactorily. The PDU reports directly to the Premier and, where appropriate, the Cabinet and relevant sub-committees of Cabinet, and will work closely with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet and Treasury.
