Established in 2013, Better Together is an engagement framework centered on 6 principles that underpin the government's approach to community engagement. Good engagement helps create better decisions by bringing the voices of citizens and stakeholders into the issues that are relevant to them.

- Generate inventive ideas and solutions
- Assist in deeply understanding community needs
