Arts South Australia’s Arts and Culture Grants Program invests in artists and organisations to support a vibrant arts ecology.

Congratulations to 25 successful applicants of the August 2020 round, receiving nearly $550,000.

Amongst the successful applicants was visual artist, Roy Ananda (work pictured above), who received a grant of $10,560 to develop new work for a solo exhibition. Roy is also the feature artist for the 2021 South Australian Living Artist Publication.

Clara Solly-Slade received a grant of $13,728 to support the commissioning and development of new Australian theatre work Speculative Friction (working title), which will interrogate the integration of technology into our lives and our relationships.

City of Marion was successful in the Major Projects: Public Art and Design Major Commission category, receiving a grant of $100,000 for Congregate, a three part work integrated within the redevelopment of the Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre.
