The Coordinator General’s Office was established on 11 December 2025 as a statutory authority reporting to the Premier.
Its purpose is to facilitate the delivery of state-significant economic, environmental and social outcomes by improving coordination, collaboration and efficiency across government planning, regulatory and approval systems.
The powers and functions of the Coordinator General’s Office are provided under the State Development Coordination and Facilitation Act 2025.
