| DPC First Nations Employment Pools program | As of 30 June 2025, 149 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates were registered on the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) First Nations Employment Pools. The employment pools are available to candidates for a range of non-executive vacancies across all classifications. During 2024-25, four candidates from the pools were successful in gaining roles within DPC. |
| Career Trackers Internship | During 2024-25, DPC continued to work with Career Trackers to engage with First Nations tertiary students in paid internships across the public and private sector. The internship involved twice-yearly placements during the university winter break and at the conclusion of the semester in November/December. |
| Aboriginal Career Pathways program | In 2024-25, four First Nations employees participated in the DPC Aboriginal Career Pathways program, involving an organisational development consultant working one-on-one with Aboriginal employees to undertake career planning, vocational assessments and create tailored development plans. |
