The department reported a $14.451 million net result for the 2020–21 financial year. This result is $11.680 million favourable when compared with the 2020–21 original budget, mainly due to budgeted cash alignment payments to the Consolidated Account not being required and to delayed expenditure that will be carried over into future years.
