The department reported a $123.389 million positive net result for the 2024-25 financial year. This result is $0.842 million unfavourable when compared with the 2024-25 original budget, primarily due to the timing of expenditure relating to the Adelaide City Deal agreement with the Commonwealth ($13.561 million), establishment of the Government Advertising and Insights Hub ($2.984 million) and payments to the Consolidated Account ($15.443 million), offset by the net impact of machinery of government changes ($5.497 million), and the revaluation of land and building assets at 30 June 2025 ($27.853 million).
