The state funeral will honour Mr Hughes’ life, extraordinary service to Australia and his enduring contribution to the South Australian community as one of the state’s most distinguished Second World War veterans.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and pay their respects. Guests are required to register their attendance.

For those unable to attend, the funeral will be livestreamed and available to watch from 2:00pm ACST.
