Hosted by the Office for Autism, the summit highlights the untapped potential of Autistic people as a significant recruitment opportunity in South Australia and will explore strategies for enhancing autism inclusion in the workforce.

Autistic individuals have diverse and valuable skillsets yet face unemployment rates over three times higher than those with other disabilities, and nearly six times higher than the general population.

The Government of South Australia acknowledges the growing interest among employers in fostering inclusive workplaces and among employees seeking environments that champion diversity.

This free, full-day event is an opportunity for employers in key industries, including defence, property, mining and energy, tourism, advanced manufacturing and IT, to come along and gain practical information and insights on how to improve inclusion in the workplace in a respectful way that acknowledges where they are on their individual journey to inclusion.

Join us to hear and learn from industry leaders, experts and champions for inclusive employment including Sir Nick Hine KCB, Chief Executive, Marine; Nick Addison, Chief Executive Officer, Adelaide Oval; and Bruce Djite, SA Executive Director, Property Council of Australia.
