Multicultural Affairs was proud to host the ‘Shaping Our Wonderful World’ float with representatives from some of our multicultural communities.

Thanks to the community groups that participated and represented their countries including:

• Afghanistan - Afghan Women's Federation of South Australia
• Bougainville - Bougainville Community of South Australia
• China - South Australia Hanfu Association
• India – Indian community members from multiple groups
• Nepal - Non-Resident Nepalese Association of Australia
• Sierra Leone - Sierra Leonean Community Organisation of South Australia

Danca Brazil and SA Samba also participated, leading the float with a vibrant Brazilian dancing and drumming performance.

Over 70 different countries have been represented as part of Multicultural Affairs involvement in the pageant since the original ‘Christmas Around the World’ float was first introduced in 2004.
