The Multicultural South Australia Ambassador Program is being developed to activate the South Australian Multicultural Charter and embed the Charter’s principles within South Australian organisations’ workforces, business practices and service delivery.

Commencing in late 2023, the program will begin as a pilot over a six-month period and will involve a diverse group of organisations from the private, not-for-profit, and local government sectors.

Led by Multicultural Affairs within the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, the program is about individual organisations and where they are in their journey of cultural diversity and awareness in the workplace.

The outcomes of the pilot will help inform the Multicultural South Australia Ambassador Program, which in time can be adopted by South Australian organisations more broadly.
