South Australian private, not-for-profit and local council organisations are invited to express their interest to join the Multicultural Ambassador program.
The Multicultural South Australia Ambassador Program is a six-month, no-cost program that aims to embed the South Australian Multicultural Charter into organisations, to strengthen the cultural and linguistic diversity of their workforce, policies, and services.
Throughout the program, organisations get access to individual and group training to help them evaluate their current level of diversity and cultural awareness. They are also supported to find ways to make their recruitment policies, business practices, and service delivery more inclusive.
Since 2023, 15 prominent South Australian businesses from a range of sectors have completed the program, including Adelaide Airport Ltd, Cancer Council SA, City of West Torrens, Flinders University, Santos, South Australian Cricket Association, and Torrens Transit.
