All community groups are invited to register to participate in the iconic Australia Day Parade on 26 January 2020, Adelaide.

The Parade is an exciting opportunity for multicultural community groups to showcase their communities and culture to the thousands of people who line King William Street to watch the Parade in a vibrant and fun filled celebration.

Join over 100 community groups, featuring more than 4 000 participants in the Parade as it makes its way from Victoria Square to Elder Park where the Australia Day in the City event will finish with a free concert and fireworks.

Presentation, dress, movement and music are a big part of how groups can present and express cultural heritage, traditions, customs and tell their unique stories while celebrating South Australia’s cultural diversity and Australia Day.

Prizes will be awarded in four categories, for the Best Music, Best Costumes, Most Creative and Judge’s Choice.

The Parade is organised by the Australia Day Council of South Australia and supported by the Department of the Premier and Cabinet’s Multicultural Grants Program.
