A new version of the South Australian (SA) Government Digital Service Standard Policy has been released
The revised Digital Service Standard Policy states that all SA Government agencies are required to consider the Digital Service Standard in the design and implementation of new or renewed government services. The Standard was developed by the Australian Government’s Digital Transformation Agency (DTA).
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is working closely with the DTA and can share resources and coordinate training programs that the DTA has developed, in support of agency implementations.
Thank you to all who provided feedback on the new Online Accessibility Policy via YourSAy (the consultation period ended on 31 January 2019).
The policy aims to ensure that all members of the South Australian community can access government information and services online. It defines the minimum accessibility requirements including website design, content and functionality. Once implemented, the policy will ensure that all government websites and online platforms are accessible to those living with a disability.
