The Economic and Infrastructure Cabinet Committee (EICC), chaired by the Minister for Energy and Mining, drives the government’s economic development and infrastructure priorities to build a dynamic economy that provides new job opportunities, fosters entrepreneurialism, and strengthens the future of the state in line with the government’s 2036 vision for South Australia.

EICC considers items relating to driving economic growth, increasing the competitiveness of the business environment, lifting productivity, increasing exports, unlocking private investment, and unlocking resources and production in regional areas.

EICC also monitors the status of key commitments and reforms in the areas of economic development and infrastructure planning and delivery.

Proposals for funding from the Economic and Growth Business Fund must be approved by EICC prior to Cabinet consideration.
