Richard Llewellyn Deaf and Disability Grants 2021-22 are now open for funded activity commencing from 1 July 2021.

Named for the late disability advocate, Richard Llewellyn, these grants support professional practicing artists who are Deaf or identify as having a disability to make and present work, or to undertake professional development opportunities.

Four categories are available for funded activity commencing from 1 July 2021 in the 2021-22 round of grants Applications close at 5pm on 3 May 2021.

Recipients in the 2020-21 round of grants included Restless Dance Theatre, who received $25,000 for their new production Guttered (as pictured). Set in a ten-pin bowling alley and exploring the notion of being a winner or a loser, Guttered premiered at the 2021 Adelaide Festival.
