Arts South Australia is continuing to support the creative sector and independent artists.

Made in Adelaide logoIn light of the current lock down in the United Kingdom and the uncertainty about current travel bans overseas and locally, the 2020 Made in Adelaide Grant Program for artists, producers and presenters considering participating in the 2020 Edinburgh Fringe has been cancelled.

Artists who intended to apply for a Made in Adelaide grant to participate in Edinburgh this year, and have been affected by the current uncertainty caused by COVID-19, can instead apply for Arts South Australia’s new COVID-19 Arts Grants Support Program. Applications close 5pm Tuesday, 31 March 2020.

Independent producers previously supported through the Made in Adelaide program who were planning to apply again this year can contact Arts South Australia by email at ASAGrants@sa.gov.au to discuss funding pathways.

Presenters are encouraged to explore the Commonwealth Government’s recently-released range of support measures for individuals and businesses, including income support, early release of superannuation, cash payments and guaranteed loans for small and medium businesses.

Further information about business support can be found at www.business.sa.gov.au and www.sa.gov.au/covid-19.

Arts South Australia will continue to engage with the sector throughout this challenging time.
