Congratulations to the 44 successful applicants to the July 2021 round of Arts South Australia’s Arts and Culture Grants Program.

The round saw $900,000 made available to the South Australian arts and culture sector.
It welcomed applications for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grants, as well as funding opportunities under the Projects, Development, and Major Projects grant streams for individuals, groups and organisations.
The Aboriginal corporation for Aṉangu in Adelaide, Iwiṟi, was among the successful applicants. Iwiṟi was awarded a grant of $25,000 in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grants – Projects category. This grant will help establish a ceramics program and harness the health and wellbeing benefits of arts and cultural practices for rural and local Aṉangu communities.
The Arts and Culture Grants Program supports artists and arts organisations to develop and create work, build partnerships and engage with audiences. It enhances South Australia’s longstanding reputation as a place for arts and culture.
The October 2021 round of the Arts and Culture Grants Program is now open. Closing at 5pm on 11 October 2021, the round funds activity commencing on or after 20 December 2021.
