Commission Support funding is available for the commissioning of new public art works by practicing professional South Australian artists for presentation in a high profile, publicly accessible location throughout South Australia.
Applications are accepted from community groups, organisations (including South Australian Government funded arts and cultural organisations) and Local and State Government agencies.
In light of the COVID-19 public health emergency, applicants to the Public Art and Design program need to consider a realistic time frame for their project and address current public health guidelines and social distancing protocol in their project proposal.
Applicants are encouraged to adopt new ways, for example, technology and on-line platforms to facilitate the delivery of public art projects
