Honour the history, cultures, contribution and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
NAIDOC Week, held between 4 and 11 July 2021, is a time for all Australians to honour and celebrate the history, cultures, contribution and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This year’s theme – Heal Country, heal our nation – recognises that ‘Country’ is more than a place and is inherent to Aboriginal identity. ‘Country’ sustains lives in every sense - spiritually, physically and culturally.
This month, government agencies, organisations and communities across South Australia are hosting events and participating in activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
These activities are detailed in the South Australian Government NAIDOC Calendar of Events.
