Calling all budding digital entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts, hobbyists, social innovators, designers, creatives and freelancers – registrations are now open for D3 Challenge #7 – Digital Trust: Young, Online and Confident.

The South Australian Cyber Innovation Node (AustCyber) in partnership with the South Australian Commissioner for Children and Young People have come together to find a solution that supports young people to interact with confidence in the online world.

Feedback from young South Australians identified that one of the most pressing rights-based issues they face is feeling they can’t trust websites not to take advantage of them. Young people said they wanted more education around when and how to ‘block’, ‘ignore’, ‘report’, ‘delete’ and ‘speak up’ if they feel uneasy about a website interaction they are experiencing.

Using the D3 model, you're invited to Discuss, Design and Deliver (D3) a digital solution to address this challenge.

Start by registering your team, as you explore the challenge and create a digital solution with those likely to use it. You'll then have an opportunity to pitch your idea to a panel of esteemed judges and be in the running for financial support and mentoring.

You could be awarded a $15,000 grant to support your team to develop a prototype of your idea.
