Young South Australian Aboriginal athletes and artists are encouraged to apply for the Governor’s Aboriginal Youth Awards 2019.

The awards recognise young Aboriginal South Australians, aged between 15 and 29 years, who are showing potential and determination to achieve success or who are excelling in their chosen field. Nominations are now open for the Sport and Arts award categories.

One award recipient in each category will receive a Certificate of Recognition, a $3,000 bursary to aid their pursuits and the services of a mentor to assist in their career development.

Nominations remain open until 5pm, Wednesday, 10 April 2019.
