A nature playground and a bicycle service that helps keep elderly people connected to their community are among the more than 200 projects that will receive a share of $20 million from the inaugural Fund My Neighbourhood program.

Around 33,000 South Australians cast over 122,000 votes for 1,600 projects across the state aimed at improving people’s neighbourhoods.

Ideas across funding regions that attracted the highest number of votes secured funding. Sponsors of successful projects will now enter into a grant agreement with the State Government.

A full list of winning projects is available at www.fundmyneighbourhood.yoursay.sa.gov.au.

Applications for round two of the Fund My Neighbourhood program will open in May 2018.
